French + Surf summer camp Biarritz

Looking for an exciting way to improve your French while catching some waves this summer? This program in Biarritz is specifically designed for 15- to 17-year-olds, offering a complete French language immersion experience and thrilling surf sessions along the stunning Basque Coast.

You’ll benefit from interactive French lessons (aligned with CEFR standards), expert surf coaching, and immersive cultural activities – ensuring you return home with enhanced French skills and unforgettable memories.

French Lessons

Each week, students attend 20 French lessons (15 hours) taught by qualified and experienced teachers specialised in French as a Foreign Language (FLE). Our interactive classes emphasize practical language skills, such as speaking exercises, listening practice, and dynamic role-playing. Lessons take place in classrooms in the center of Biarritz, providing an ideal learning environment that boosts confidence and fluency in everyday French.

Surf and activities in Biarritz

Experience four surf sessions per week, led by certified surf instructors along the stunning beaches of Biarritz – one of the world’s premier surfing destinations. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced surfer, you’ll build confidence riding the Atlantic waves while refining your technique.

In addition to surf lessons, students will enjoy one half-day and one full-day excursion each week, offering the opportunity to explore the beauty of Biarritz and its surroundings. Plus, there are four cultural and social activities per week with the instructors, scheduled around the surf sessions depending on the tides. Examples include beach volleyball, laser tag, bowling, and a visit to Bayonne. One evening activity is organised once a week, for example a picnic at the beach, offering a great opportunity for socialising in a relaxed setting.
