Want to improve your French while enjoying the waves? Our spring program in Biarritz is specially designed for teens ages 13 to 17, offering a complete language immersion experience and surfing sessions on the beautiful Basque Coast.

Whether you choose to stay for one or two weeks, you’ll enjoy interactive French lessons (aligned with the CEFR standards), professionally guided surfing sessions, and cultural activities—ensuring you’ll leave with improved French skills and unforgettable memories.

French Lessons

Each week, students attend 20 French lessons (15 hours) taught by qualified and experienced teachers specialised in French as a Foreign Language (FLE). Our interactive classes emphasize practical language skills, such as speaking exercises, listening practice, and dynamic role-playing. Lessons take place in classrooms in the center of Biarritz, providing an ideal learning environment that boosts confidence and fluency in everyday French.

This programme includes 4 exciting sports and cultural activities, with examples such as bike tours, rugby, Laser Tag, indoor climbing, trampoline park, Basque pelota, skateboarding, golf, Hawaiian canoeing and beach volleyball.

Accommodation with half-board in a host family

Living with a host family allows a full cultural immersion, letting students practice their French in daily life. Students typically share a room with other participants, promoting friendship and language practice. Half board includes two healthy meals daily – breakfast and dinner – giving participants a taste of authentic French cuisine while engaging in meaningful conversation around the table.

GOOD TO KNOW: Safety, 24/7 Support, and Transfers

The safety and well-being of our students are our top priorities. Each participant is provided with a 24-hour emergency number for round-the-clock assistance and support. A curfew is in effect at 11:00 p.m. on weekdays and 1:00 a.m. on weekends to ensure safety and compliance with the rules.

The host family provides arrival and departure transfers to and from Biarritz Airport or Biarritz Train Station, ensuring a seamless start and end to the student’s stay.

Students generally use public transportation to travel between host families, classrooms, and activity locations, encouraging independence and group bonding. Although tickets aren’t included, activity leaders help you purchase them on the first day.

Enrolment for 1 to 2 weeks from 28/03/2027 to 10/04/2027 and from 17/10/2027 to 30/10/2027.

Program open for A2 to C1 levels.

Starting date: 28 March (1 or 2 weeks) or 04 April (1 week), 18 October (1 or 2 weeks) or 24 October (1 week).

Arrivals are on Sunday, classes start on Monday.
