Looking for a full immersion with locals, or a moment-sharing experience with other world travelers? Les ateliers FL offer a wide variety of high quality accommodations that will fit all tastes and budgets! Host families, apart’hotels, residences, etc. Travel worry-free, everything will be taken care of for you!

Host Families

Staying with a host family is a unique intercultural experience that we highly recommend to all our students. You will share unique moments of daily life with your family, practicing your French in real situations.

All our host families are carefully selected by our team and live maximum 40 minutes from the school (the distance varies depending on the city). Each family hosts one or more students with a different mother tongue.

Traveling on your own or with a partner, no matter what you need, we have the option for you. Choose from bed & breakfast, half-board or even full-board, we also offer the room only option for the independent ones.

Living in a host family half board is mandatory if you are underage.

It is recommended, when possible and depending on your flight’s arrival time, to arrive in the family after 6pm on Sundays. Departures are on Saturdays before noon. For arrivals outside these hours, please contact the school: info@les-ateliers.fr

Why choose a host family for accommodation in France?

Apart’hotels

Cheaper and more comfortable than a hotel, choosing to book an apart’hotel allows you to feel just like at home but still be able to enjoy the services of the residence and ask for help from the staff.

We have selected a large choice of very comfortable and fully-equiped apartments. The apartments can usually welcome 1 or 2 people, however if you like to travel in groups, some of our apartments can fit up to 4 people.

The facilities, the services (both free of charge and at an extra cost) may vary depending on the apart’hotels.

An appart’hotel combines the advantages of an apartment with those of a hotel.

  2. Comfort and equipment:Furnished units with fully equipped kitchens, allowing you to prepare your own meals.Larger living space compared to a standard hotel room.
  3. Hotel services: Regular housekeeping services. Reception often available 24 hours a day. Additional services such as laundry, breakfast, and sometimes even gym or swimming pool.
  4. Savings : Costs are often lower for longer stays than in a conventional hotel. Lower catering costs thanks to fully equipped kitchens.
  5. Flexibility and autonomy: Receive guests as if they were at home. Greater privacy and tranquility.
  6. Location: Often located in central or well-served areas, allowing easy access to stores, transport and local attractions.
  7. Space and amenities: Several rooms (bedroom, living room, kitchen), offering greater comfort. Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, TV and sometimes streaming services.
  8. Security: Enhanced security is often available, including video surveillance and electronic access cards.

Residences

Staying in a residence will enable you to enjoy your independence but also share experiences with other students from many different countries thanks to the different common areas available.

We have selected a large choice of modern and fully equiped residences, easily accessible from the schools.

You can choose to stay in either a single or double room, a private or a double studio and some residence even offer hotel services. Whatever you feel like and whatever your budget, we have the residence for you!

It is highly recommend to book a minimum of 1 week, the facilities, the services (both free of charge and at an extra cost) may vary depending on the residence.
