In the heart of the most beautiful French regions (the Côte d’Azur and the Basque Country), you will combine French lessons, sports activities, excursions and various cultural activities!
NEW THIS SUMMER: France Langue and Wimbledon School of English has partnered to offer a linguistic, sports and cultural stay in total immersion!
We offer social and cultural activities to enable you to practice French together with the other students before or after the activities: football games, beach volley contests, quizzes, photo contests, treasure hunts…
Excursions to discover the region are also part of the program. Evenings are organized to encourage interaction: activities organized every evening (Board games, karaoke, picnic on the beach, outdoor movies, musical quizzes, inter house competitions, beach volleyball, bowling…).
The supervision and the security
A group leader runs the activity program and supervises the students. The supervision ratio is 1 to 8 for water activities and 1 to 12 for other activities and excursions.
The school also requires a signed health form for each student (with medical records and requirements). For insurance and security reasons, the curfew is set at 11pm on weekdays in Nice (10pm in Biarritz) and at 11.30pm on Saturday nights in Nice (10:30pm in Biarritz).
The program takes place in a 24-hour supervised camp. Transportation to and from activities and excursions will be led by our group leader.
Transfers are included from Airport or train station. A member of the France Langue team will pick you up upon your arrival and accompany you on your day of departure. Travel details must be confirmed 15 days before the arrival of the student at the latest (point of arrival, time, flight/train number).
In Nice and Biarritz, you need to arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave on Saturday morning.
Their goal? Support students throughout their France Langue experience.
Coaching and mentoring is the centre of our teaching method, creating adapted situations to learn and use the concepts learned throughout your FLExperience.
Lessons and activities are available on your FLOnline platform, enjoy the full experience of our Virtual School and E-meet the FLAlumni network.
The aim is to enable you to improve oral and written communication, strengthen vocabulary and grammar points, develop your knowledge of French or English culture and civilization and express yourself with fluency and ease in different situations.
You will be divided into level groups of 14 maximum. The written and oral tests should be completed ahead of your arrival. However, if France Langue doesn’t receive your written test or doesn’t organize the oral test prior to your arrival, you will need to be tested on the first day.
The teachers have developped an action-oriented approach with numerous activities created in line with the groups’ levels, favoring oral expression while setting the foundations for writing.
The various themes will encourage the practice of theory in situations adapted to foreign students. The teaching team will hold interactive and engaging lessons through fun educational activities, such as collective group work, pair work, and interaction with other level groups in and outside the classroom.
Cooperative Language Learning is based on the practice of the language in real-life situations, using many different classroom environments. (In the classroom, outside of the class, on the FL Online platform, on the Mooc offered by FL).
The use of all the teaching technologies and methodologies available creates a complete experience with a full support for the learner.
